I read my first metaphysical book when I was 16 and for years afterwards sought out many books in the genre of metaphysical theory, self-help, and eastern philosophy.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 1983 and after a short career as a classroom teacher I started my healing arts practice in 1986 where I taught energy healing, self awareness and clairvoyant classes for 30 years. I am now retired.
My clairvoyant and healing abilities are a combination of natural talent, study and life experience. My philosophy and writing style combine a commitment to spiritual awareness and practical common sense values.
Born sensitive and altruistic, along with my professional career as a clairvoyant healer and teacher, I have been an active volunteer at Raphael House (a shelter home for domestic violence victims from 1979 to 1984), Oregon Literacy (teaching adults to read, from 1992 to 1993), Portland Public School (classroom volunteer from 2000 to spring 2011), and a Children International Sponsor (from 2007 to 2018).
I was born psychically aware and psychically talented, without a dark side to overcome. That makes me a little bit different. It gives me the ability to gather information most people ignore. I take this responsibility seriously.
I have learned far more than I ever set out to, but I keep my metaphysical knowledge in perspective. If scientists estimate their understanding of the entire universe to be at about 4%, that sounds about right for metaphysicians too. There will always be more answers to question we haven't even thought of yet. I hope that my self-defined metaphysical career leaves a legacy worthy of a pioneer.
I currently live and write in my hometown of Portland, Oregon.
